The Bristol Region have some exiting events taking place over the next couple of months. Take a look below for their latest events.
Sportsman's Lunch Friday 23rd November 2018
This year's annual Gloucestershire CCC Sportsman's Lunch will be held in the Premier Lounge on the second floor of the Bristol Pavilion at the County Ground on Friday 23rd November.
This year’s very special guest speaker is world renowned Auctioneer Richard Madley. Richard is one of the experts on BBC 1 Bargain Hunt and is known throughout the cricketing world as the auctioneer for the IPL in India, which he has been since the inception of the competition.
The price of the event this year is £47 per person which includes a three course lunch prepared by our Centreplate chefs and half a bottle of wine per person.
Lunch will be served at 12.30pm, with pre-lunch drinks available from midday.
All profits from the lunch will be used to support the Gloucestershire CCC Youth Development programme. Over the past few years an increasing number of first team players have come through this route, with encouraging results, so this is an ideal opportunity to lend your support to the development of the team, whilst enjoying yourself at the same time.

Pig Racing
On Thursday 6th September, the Bristol Region will be presenting an evening of Pig Racing.
The Pig Racing event takes place on the third day of our Specsavers County Championship match against Middlesex at 6.30pm.
This event will be taking place in the Jessop Suite in the Bristol Pavilion. Admission is FREE, everyone is welcome to attend, so why not 'trotter along', place your bets and enjoy an hour of great fun after the close of play.
Cider Appreciation Evening with Thatchers Cider
Thatchers will be hosting an evening to raise funds for Gloucestershire CCC on Thursday 20th September 2018, in association with the Bristol Region of Gloucestershire CCC.
It will be held in the Jessop Suite on the ground floor of the Bristol Pavilion starting at 7pm with a reception drink.
During the evening, you will have the opportunity to sample a selection of different Thatchers ciders. This will include newly branded ciders as well as old favourites. The ciders will be accompanied by taster dishes expertly prepared by the chefs from Centerplate.
The ticket price is a fantastic £25. Places are strictly limited to 60 - last year’s event was absolutely brilliant so book early to avoid disappointment.
