Speaking on his contract extension, Taylor said, “I am really excited to have extended my contract until 2021.  This is a great team to be part of, with some talented youngsters coming through.

I truly believe as a group, we can push for some more silverware over the coming years, and I wanted to be a part of that.”

Head Coach, Richard Dawson said: “It’s great that Jack has extended his contract with Gloucestershire. He’s been an integral part of the squad and we look forward to him continuing to improve and help the Club improve in all formats.”

Gloucestershire Cricket Chief Executive Will Brown said: “It is fantastic news that Jack has committed to a further contract extension. Jack has become a firm crowd favourite and is a major part of our family.

In recent years he has had many memorable matches for Gloucestershire not least some explosive T20 performances counterbalanced with some gritty and considered county championship innings.”
