James Markey, Managing Director of Nutrition X, commented on the renewed partnership:

“We’re incredibly proud to be working with Gloucestershire CCC once again this year after a successful season together in 2017, with some really exciting things ahead. As a fellow Gloucestershire-based business and fans of the Club on a personal level, it’s fantastic to be able to work so closely with the Strength and Conditioning Team, and each of the players, to help them achieve maximum results through nutritional support. This year, we’ll be working closely with the guys by delivering a series of talks, advice sessions and analysis services in addition to providing tailored supplement plans to help each of the players understand the effect of nutrition on performance to a level like never before. We can’t wait to see how they get on and wish them the very best of luck for the coming season!”

Gloucestershire's Strength & Conditioning Coach, Bob Smith expressed his delight:

“I'm thrilled that we have partnered with Nutrition X as our supplement provider for the 2018 season. Nutrition X adhere to the highest standards of both anti-doping regulations and ingredient quality in their products. Given their association with Liverpool John Moor's University I'm confident that the products we provide our players are both safe and effective at supporting their needs.

On Monday we took another step forwards with that relationship with Nutriton X fixing up a hydration education session with PhD student and ex-England Saxon James Hudson to develop a hydration strategy for the club going forward. In using Nutrition X products to fuel that strategy we are closing the loop between the best supplements, the most up to date research applied to our players.”
