Gloucestershire heading on tour to La Manga

Gloucestershire Cricket are delighted to announce that the squad will be touring La Manga in Murcia, Spain from 19 - 26 March as part of pre-season preparations.

Over the last few years the players have used the training marquee on the outfield at the Brightside Ground but we’ve taken the decision this year to swap that for an overseas trip.  

Our tour of La Manga will include three One-Day matches against local rivals Glamorgan on the following dates:

1. Thursday 21st March
2. Sunday 24th March
3. Monday 25th March

Gloucestershire Cricket Chief Executive Will Brown said: "It’s great to see the Gloucestershire squad heading to La Manga in Spain to finish off their pre-season training. The base at La Manga is hugely versatile and allows the players to work on all areas of their game as well as taking part in 3 important warm-up matches against a Glamorgan side.

La Manga is also a hugely popular holiday destination and for supporters looking for some pre-season sun there is also the opportunity to watch matches and interact with the players in a warm and welcoming environment."
