One Day Cup Women's League 2 Preview | Middlesex v Gloucestershire

Gloucestershire travel to Radlett on Wednesday (15 May) to face Middlesex in their fourth Metro Bank One Day Cup Women's League 2 clash of the summer.

Glos will be hoping to return to winning ways following the defeat to Glamorgan in the last outing in the Metro Bank League 2.

Skipper Liv Daniels continues to lead the side, with vice-captain Emily Geach again playing a key role with both bat and ball following a strong start to the season.

Head Coach Lauren Rowles has selected a 12-player squad for the trip to face Middlesex, with new addition Meg Austin joining the squad on loan from Warwickshire.

Captain Daniels has returned to the squad after being ruled out of the last couple of games with concussion.

In their last Metro Bank One Day Cup Women's League 2 fixture, Middlesex extended their unbeaten start to the season with a four-wicket victory over Northamptonshire Steelbacks. 

After an impressive performance with the ball, bowling the hosts out for 144, they chased the target down in within 34 overs to make it three wins from three – returning to the top of the Tier Two table as the only unbeaten side, four points clear of second-place Yorkshire.
