GCCC nominated for local award
7 March 2017
Gloucestershire Cricket is delighted to announce that the Club has been named as a finalist in the Leisure & Tourism category (sponsored by the Clifton Marquee Company) at this year’s Bristol Life Awards.
This prestigious black tie event will be held in the Lloyds Amphitheatre on Thursday 27 April.
Emily Salvidge, Head of Marketing and Commercial, said: “I am thrilled that we have been shortlisted as a finalist in the Leisure & Tourism category. This recognition reflects the success of our business across all areas, including conferencing and banqueting. Hosting International cricket, coupled with our domestic cricket programme, continues to attract individuals and businesses to the Brightside Ground whether they are here to watch a game or to hold an event on a non-match day.
“We feel that we have an important role to play as an iconic sport and leisure business both through inspiring grass roots activity to the professional sports arena and driving wider economic benefits for the City.”
