CB40 v Worcestershire today - Good news
17 July 2012
Gloucestershire Cricket welcomes Worcestershire today for our next CB40 match of the 2012 Brewin Dolphin Cheltenham Cricket Festival. Play is scheduled to start at 1.45pm.
It has been dry overnight and with no rain forecast today, the ground staff are confident the match will start on time.
We are expecting a big crowd for this vital one day game against local rivals Worcestershire.
Tickets are available on the gate priced at £20 for adults, £10 for U16s and £45 for a family ticket (2 adults, 2 U16s). Tickets for the abandoned days on Friday, Saturday and Sunday are valid for this match - or for any other day of the Brewin Dolphin Cheltenham Cricket Festival.
Ahead of the game, the RAF Falcons (the UK's premier parachute display team) are due to perform their colourful aerial display, landing at the ground at 1.20pm.
Coaching and organised cricket activities for children is being provided by qualified coaches at the Abercrombie & Kent coaching zone.
When arriving on the day, please note that the car park is now located on Sandford Road. The ground is still soft due to the recent wet weather so please wear sensible footwear, for example, we advise no high heels for ladies.
