Brewin Dolphin Cheltenham Cricket Festival

Gloucestershire have been playing at Cheltenham for over 140 years making this the world's longest running cricket festival. The ground's idyllic setting provides the perfect backdrop and a great attraction for cricket fans, new supporters and big cricketing stars.

This year the Brewin Dolphin Cheltenham Cricket Festival has the added excitement of three Friends Life t20 matches – the first time this format of the game has featured at the festival. Twenty20 cricket is all about big hitting and non-stop action and the small ground should really lend itself to some big scores.

The cricket gets underway on Wednesday 10 July with a four-day LV= County Championship match v Kent followed by a Friends Life t20 match on Sunday 14 July when Warwickshire will be our opponents. Two further Twenty20 matches are scheduled for Tuesday 16 July (v Northamptonshire) and Sunday 21 July (v Glamorgan). The Club also welcomes Worcestershire to Cheltenham for the second LV= County Championship fixture of the Festival, commencing on Wednesday 17 July. All three Friends life t20 matches start at 2.30pm with LV= games starting at 11am.

The event is incredibly popular for corporate hospitality with a variety of packages from individual bookings to a private pitch side marquee for larger numbers. For more information about corporate hospitality at the Brewin Dolphin Cheltenham Cricket Festival click here.

During the festival there are a host of events to attend plus free coaching for children at the Abercrombie & Kent coaching zone. This is lots of choice for food and drinks at the ground including hospitality, taking lunch in the Golden Heart or our bars and freshly cooked food options in our Food Village. See the menus at the top of the page for more information.
