CIRENCESTER
Only 1st class match v Surrey, 28th, 29th and 30th August 1879. Present ground used by Cirencester C.C.
GLOUCESTER: SPA GROUND
First 1st class match v Somerset, 13th and 14th July 1882. Last 1st class match v Leicestershire, 30th and 31st May 1923. Present ground used by Gloucester City Winget C.C. Gloucester: Tuffley Park
GLOUCESTER: TUFFLEY PARK
First 1st class match v Lancashire, 2nd, 4th and 5th June 1923.
Last 1st class match v Somerset, 23rd, 25th and 26th May 1992.
The ground was owned by the Gloucester Wagon Company, and known as the “Wagon Works” ground. It was purchased by the City Council in the 1980’s.
GLOUCESTER: THE KING’S SCHOOL GROUND
First 1st class match v Worcestershire, 27th, 28th and 29th May 1993. Last 1st class match v Warwickshire, 30th, 31st May, 1st, 2nd June 2008. Also known as Archdeacon Meadow, it is the present School ground.
LYDNEY
First 1st class match v Surrey, 24th, 26th and 27th August 1963. Last 1st class match v Sussex, 28th and 30th June 1969. Present ground used by Lydney C.C.
MORETON-IN-MARSH
First 1st class match v Yorkshire, 8th, 9th and 10th May 1884.
Last 1st class match v Worcestershire, 22nd, 23rd and 24th June 1914. Present ground used by Moreton-in-Marsh C.C.
STROUD: ERINOID GROUND
First 1st class match v Nottinghamshire, 9th, 11th and 12th June 1956. Last 1st class match v Glamorgan, 29th, 30th and 31st May 1963.
The ground was lost due to industrial expansion of the Erinoid Works.
ONE-DAY MATCHES ONLY
CHELTENHAM: DOWTY ARLE COURT
Used for two Benson & Hedges games in 1992. No longer used for cricket.
SWINDON: COUNTY GROUND
Used for seven Sunday League games between 1970 and 1992. Used for 1st class cricket by the Minor Counties in 1967. Present ground used by Swindon C.C. and Wiltshire C.C.C.
TEWKESBURY: THE SWILGATE
Used for two Sunday League games in 1972 and 1973. Present ground used by Tewkesbury C.C.
TROWBRIDGE: COUNTY GROUND
Used for one Sunday League game in 1989.
Used for 1st class cricket by the Minor Counties in 1989. Present ground used by Trowbridge C.C. and Wiltshire C.C.C.
