BRISTOL: ASHLEY DOWN
  First 1st class match v Lancashire, 1st and 2nd July 1889.
The ground was laid out to W.G.Grace’s specification.
In 1916, it was purchased by J.S.Fry & Sons to get the Cricket Club out of debt, being known as “Fry’s Ground”. The County Cricket Club re-purchased the ground in 1932, the money being raised by forming a company – Gloucestershire County Cricket Club Ltd.
The Phoenix Assurance Company purchased the ground in 1976, but was returned to Club ownership in 2004.
Current ground and county headquarters.
BRISTOL: CLIFTON COLLEGE
First 1st class match v Nottinghamshire, 3rd, 4th and 5th August 1871. Last 1st class match v All India, 6th, 8th and 9th August 1932.
Present College ground.
BRISTOL: DURDHAM DOWN
Only 1st class match v Surrey, 2nd, 3rd and 4th June 1870.
The ground was in a large public open space. The square was used by Clifton C.C. until 1929 and for other cricket until the 1960’s. A football pitch is now on the site.
BRISTOL: GREENBANK
First 1st class match v Sussex, 13th and 15th May 1922.
Last 1st class match v Derbyshire, 28th, 30th and 31st July 1928.
The ground was owned by H.J.Packer, chocolate manufacturers, and known as “Packers Ground”. It became an Education Committee playing field.
CHELTENHAM: COLLEGE GROUND
First 1st class match v Surrey, 18th and 19th July 1872. Present College ground.
Current ground.
CHELTENHAM: EAST GLOUCESTERSHIRE GROUND
First 1st class match v Nottinghamshire, 14th, 15th and 16th June 1888.
Only other 1st class match v Philadelphians, 15th and 16th June 1903.
Ground not used for cricket after 1923, but it is still the East Glos. Club and used for hockey, squash and tennis.
CHELTENHAM: VICTORIA GROUND
First 1st class match v Glamorgan, 27th, 28th and 29th June 1923. Last 1st class match v the Indians, 10th, 11th and 12th May 1986. Present ground used by Cheltenham C.C.
