Appointment of Executive Board Members

During the Club’s AGM on Monday 29th April 2024 Members Mark Brunt and Nick Bryan have been elected to the Executive Board with immediate effect. David Jones, current Chair and Executive Board Member for an accumulative ten years, will step down from his role.
Everyone at Gloucestershire Cricket would like to congratulate Mark and Nick on their appointments and we look forward to working with them in the months and years to come.
Speaking on the departure of David Jones, Chief Executive at Gloucestershire Cricket, Will Brown, said: “The Club owes David a debt of gratitude for his leadership and guidance over the last ten years in particular during his time as Deputy Chair and in more recent years as Chair.
“There is no doubt that in an ever-changing world his vision, guidance and steady hand has done tremendous amounts for the Club and he will be greatly missed.”
Outgoing Chair, David Jones, added: “It has been an enormous pleasure to serve on the board over the last decade with three years as Chair. Cricket has its challenges but I have every faith in the Club to rise above those challenges and I wish Gloucestershire all the best for the future.”
The process for electing a new Chair falls to the Executive Board of the Club and will start immediately. The appointment of a Chair is an incredibly important decision for the Club to make and whilst that process will begin at once, the Executive Board will be sure to afford that process the highest standard of governance and consideration.
