A former New Zealand Under 19 international, Kieran joined Gloucestershire at the end of the 2014 season after impressing on trial.

The allrounder - who is a British passport holder through his English father -  previously played for Central Districts in his native country and was part of their HRV T20 winning side in 2009-10.

In total Kieran has scored more than 3000 First Class runs and taken more than 150 wickets in First Class matches – both at an average just over 30.

He is renowned for his prowess in the shorter forms of the game and in December 2010 he set the record for the fastest half century in New Zealand domestic T20 – smashing 50 off 14 balls.

Kieran's most memorable performance in 2017 came in the win against local rivals Somerset at the Brightside Ground when he smashed 33 off 18 balls.
