Visitor Information - Gloucestershire v Derbyshire T20 QF

We look forward to welcoming Members & Supporters of both Gloucestershire and Derbyshire to the Bristol County Ground on Saturday 7th September for the Quarter-Final of the Vitality Blast!

Key Points:-

  • There is no car parking available at The Bristol County Ground
  • If you're travelling from Derbyshire to Bristol for the T20 match, make sure you've planned your journey. 
  • A park & ride shuttle service from Bristol Parkway (BS34 8PU) has been arranged for this match with First Bus and the Bristol city council.

 

Gates open - 5:00pm

Match starts - 7:00pm

First Session 7.00pm - 8.15pm
Interval 8.15pm - 8.30pm
Second Session 8.30pm - 9.45pm

 

Please check your tickets before you arrive at the ground. 

The main entrance to the ground is the Ashley Down Road entrance, off College Road.  The postcode is BS7 9LU.

If you are collecting tickets, please arrive at the Ashley Down Road entrance (BS7 9LU) from 5.00pm.

Please note alcohol, metal cans or glass bottles may not be brought into the ground at any time.

 

Entry for Gloucestershire Cricket Premier Club Members -

Premier Club Members will need to show their membership card at the gates for entry.

Parking –

There is no parking available at The Bristol County Ground for this match. 

There is very limited parking available for Blue Badge holders within the City of Bristol College Car Park. Please speak with a steward whol will be able to assist on the day.

 

Park & Ride -

A park and ride service will be in operation for this match from Bristol Parkway (BS34 8PU).

Bus Service –

The Bristol County Ground, on Nevil Road, is easily accessible by bus: Services 17, 70/71, 72, 73, 75, 76, T2 all run within a five minute walk of the main entrance using stops on the nearby Gloucester Road (Services 71, 72, 73, 75, 76, T2), Muller Road (Service 17) and  Ashley Down Road (Service 70).  All buses operate at regular intervals, Service 75 and 76 run 24 hours a day.

Train Service –

The nearest train station to the Bristol County Ground is Montpelier, approximately 1 mile from the Club and close to other public transport.  The station has direct lines through to Bristol Temple Meads and a regular schedule to Bristol Parkway.

 

Cash –

We advise that supporters bring cash to the ground as there is only one cash-withdrawal machine available.

 

Food & Drink –

DRINK

We have SEVEN bars in total including a Pimms & Gin stall, there will be a variety of drink options on the day of the match.

FOOD

The Optimum Bar will be serving a selection of food and drink and can be found adjacent to the Bristol Pavilion. (The Optimum Sports Bar is the only bar in the ground that offers Gloucestershire Cricket Members' Discount)

The Stumps Café, which is located at the Ashley Down Road end of the ground (on the main concourse under the apartments) will be serving a range of hot and cold snacks, including pasties and sandwiches as well as hot and cold beverages, including beer, wine and cider.

There will be SIX food units in the ground which range from Burgers, Greek, Pizza and Hog Roast. 

If you have any dietary requirements, please ask the staff in all catering units, they will be able to assist with your queries.

All supporters are reminded that due to ECB Ground Regulations, NO ALCOHOL can be brought into the ground for this Vitality Blast Match.

Activation Area -

There is an activation area located by the Family Stand of the ground. There will be a batting simulator and a bowling cage for supporters to enjoy on match day.

Freebies - 

When you arrive make sure you keep an eye out for the FREE goodies we have on offer such as 4 & 6 cards.  There’s also the chance to meet our Mascot, Alfred!

Stewarding –

There will be a number of stewards located around the ground, they will be happy to help with any questions you may have.

Entry/Bag Searches –

Please be aware that bags may be searched on entry to the ground. Please arrive early to avoid any congestion.
