Thatchers Cider tasting evening success
21 September 2018
On Thursday 20 September, Thatchers Cider hosted a superb Cider Tasting evening in the Bristol Pavilion at the Brightside Ground in association with the Bristol Region.
Over 50 guests were greeted in the Jessop Room where Cider samples were dispensed.
The evening was filled with information about the cider makers wide range of drinks as well as complimenting food. There was also an opportunity to raise money for Gloucestershire Cricket. The event was a huge success, raising over £500 for the club.
Richard Johnson (Head Cider maker at Thatchers) described the incredible variety of drinks made with apples from the Thatchers Orchard. It was interesting to hear how well Thatchers have perfected the capabilities of the apples, making such a wide range of Thachers Cider products.
The evening was topped off with a raffle, with Thatchers Hampers and Gloucestershire Cricket prizes to be won.
Speaking on a successful evening, Bristol Region Chairman David Mclauchlan said - “Once again we had a tremendous evening. A big thank you to Thatcher’s who are a marvellous sponsor of the club.”
A big thanks to Thatchers Cider, for a superb evening.
