T20 Cricket to return to the Towergate Cheltenham Cricket Festival in 2024
22 November 2023
Gloucestershire Cricket can today reveal that the Club will play three Vitality Blast matches at Cheltenham College in 2024.
Members and supporters can look forward to seeing Gloucestershire in T20 action at the festival for the first time since 2021 when the Club played to sell-out crowds in consecutive Friday night matches against Surrey and Middlesex.
Details of this season’s opponents will be announced this Thursday 23 November along with domestic fixtures for the entire 2024 season.
General admission tickets to all fixtures, including the world’s oldest cricket festival will go on sale in February 2024, but with Cheltenham T20 tickets expected to sell-out across all three fixtures, you can register your interest now to jump the queue and gain priority access.

Gloucestershire’s victory over Middlesex at Cheltenham in 2021 put the Club within touching distance of a quarter-final place, ultimately missing out on qualification by just one point.
Will Brown, Chief Executive at Gloucestershire Cricket, said:
“We’re absolutely delighted to be bringing T20 cricket back to Cheltenham for the first time since 2021. Our last Blast matches in Cheltenham against Middlesex and Surrey were sell-outs, so we know our Members and supporters love watching Gloucestershire play T20 cricket at the college.
“It’s going to be a bumper festival, and we hope Members and supporters are looking forward to it as much as we are.”
