Smith Loan Extended For Three More Games
2 August 2013
Tom Smith's loan from Middlesex has been extended until the middle of the month.
The left-arm spinner was due to return to Lord's at the conclusion of Gloucestershire's T20 campaign, but will now remain up to and including August 13th.
That means Smith can play in the LV=County Championship match with Northants at Northampton, which started today, and in the Yorkshire Bank 40 matches against Somerset at Taunton on Sunday week and Leicestershire at Bristol two days later.
Gloucestershire Director of Cricket John Bracewell said: "I rate Tom a very good bowler and he is very good in the dressing room.
"He has shown that he is a learner and that he is adaptable so I am very pleased to have him for another couple of weeks."
Skipper Michael Klinger added: "Tom bowled really well up at Cheltenham for us and has fitted into our group really well.
"I am more than happy to have him in our squad."
