Second XI Enjoy innings Victory At Downend

Ian Cockbain (pictured) and David Payne played starring roles as Gloucestershire recorded an innings victory over Warwickshire in a second XI friendly at Downend Cricket Club.
Cockbain hit 162 and Jack Taylor 98 as a strong home side packed with first team players ran up 535 for six on the opening day.
Payne then claimed 5-42 as Warwickshire were shot out for 215 and the hosts went on to complete a comprehensive victory.
