Second XI Draw With Surrey

Ian Saxelby and Liam Norwell returned identical figures of 2-33 in Surrey's second innings of 234-5 declared on the final day of the Second XI Championship game at Bristol.
That gave Saxelby match figures of 6-74. Half-centuries from Aneesh Kapil (67) and Arun Harinath (50) enabled the visitors to build on their slender first innings lead of three runs and ensure the game ended in a draw.
By the end Gloucestershire had reached 33-1 in their second innings, Dan Housego unbeaten on 23.
The teams meet again in a Second Xi Trophy match at the County Ground tomorrow.
