REPORT : Surrey match washed out in One Day Cup
17 May 2017
Gloucestershire's campaign in the Royal London Cup came to a soggy conclusion at the Brightside Ground with no play possible against Surrey.
Rain from early in the morning until well after the scheduled start time at 1.30 rendered the outfield unplayable and umpires Jeff Evans and Billy Taylor only waited until shortly after 3.00pm before making the easy decision to call off play for the day.
Gloucestershire's next first team match is in the County Championship against Nottinghamshire at Trent Bridge starting on Friday May 26th.
Gloucestershire then take on Nottinghamshire again in the County Championship at the Brightside Ground on Friday June 9th. To book your place for this match, please click here.
