Poochadelic helps raise £2.3m for Bristol Children's Hospital
4 October 2013
After 10 weeks here at the Bristol County Ground, as part of the public art trail in Bristol, our Gromit Unleashed sculpture “Poochadelic” who was designed by Lisa Hassell – and kindly sponsored by Linden Homes Western - finally went under the hammer last night (Thursday 3rd October 2013). Poochadelic was auctioned for £25,000. Lisa, who was in the audience, was “unbelievably proud” that he raised so much.
Hosted by Sotheby's auctioneer and TV antiques presenter Tim Wonnacott, the auction raised an incredible £2,357,000.00 for Wallace & Gromit's Grand Appeal which supports sick children and their families at the Bristol Children's Hospital.
