Olympic torch to visit Gloucestershire Cricket
23 June 2012
If you missed the opportunity to cheer on the Olympic Torch as it travelled through Bristol in May, Gloucestershire Cricket is delighted to announce that the Torch will be visiting the County Ground, Bristol on Wednesday 27 June when Gloucestershire Gladiators play host to the Warwickshire Bears for a Friends Life t20 match.
Keith Masdin, one of the 2012 Olympic Torch Bearers, will undertake a lap of honour during the interval and there will be plenty of opportunity for people to have their photograph taken too. Keith will be representing his chosen charity, Hope & Homes for Children.
The action gets underway at 5.30 pm. Advance tickets (which are available until 5.00 pm pre-match day) cost just £15 for adults, £5 for under 16’s with a family ticket for only £32.
