Nicol Set To Face Middlesex
17 July 2012
Rob Nicol is set to make his Gloucestershire debut in Sunday's Clydesdale Bank 40 game against Middlesex at Cheltenham.
The New Zealand batsman is currently in West Indies and expected to arrive in England on Thursday or Friday to take over as overseas player for the rest of the season.
That means Nicol will not be available for the LV=County Championship match against Leicestershire at the Festival, starting tomorrow.
Gloucestershire will go into the four-day game without an overseas signing as Ed Cowan leaves after today's CB40 clash with Worcestershire.
James Fuller and Jack Taylor have been added to the squad selected for the last Championship game against Essex.
Both Will Gidman and Chris Dent remain on the sidelines through injury and neither will be fit for the CB40 gane on Sunday.
