A drone light show spectacular!

Coming this December...

Evolution is a visually immersive drone light show, created by Celestial, the visionary light artists behind drone shows such as this year’s Eurovision and London New Year’s Eve.

Taking audiences on a mesmerising journey through time and space, the narrated story starts with the Big Bang, the explosive inception of the universe and journeys into the emergence of the sun, our solar system and the planets that inhabit it.

The cosmic voyage accompanied by an original cinematic soundtrack, guides viewers through the origins of conscious life on Earth, from the humble beginnings of single-cell organisms to the awe-inspiring reign of the dinosaurs and culminates in a celebration of the diverse tapestry of life on Earth today.

Evolution magnificently intertwines narrative with themes of transformation, growth and the perpetual dance of change. Immersing attendees in an epic-scale theatrical event that fuses cutting-edge technology and creativity to spark the imagination and stir the soul.

Attendees will experience the very latest in creative entertainment for all ages with this new, spellbinding show and celebration of the living world. Evolution is a captivating homage to the past, celebration of the present and glimpse into the horizons of the future.

An experience for all ages to enjoy

The event itself is suitable for the whole family and for all ages to enjoy. In addition to the main show, event-goers can revel in festive fun with fairground rides, music and a food village with local traders.

John Hopkins, Celestial co-founder & Chief Creative Officer comments: “Evolution has been three years in the making. This is so much more than a drone light show, it’s an experience with stadium scale, created to bring audiences together using a new medium to tell the story of time”.

Dominic Mills, Founder & CEO of Yuup adds: “We’re hugely excited to be partnering with Celestial to bring this unique spectacle to the people of Bristol and the West Midlands and at such an epic scale! This kind of show will offer a brand-new source of winter entertainment unlike anything anyone has ever seen, encouraging people to look up and reconnect with the world”.

Neil Priscott, Chief Operations Officer, Gloucestershire County Cricket Club comments: “Bristol is home to many fantastic events and we’re so excited to be able to be a part of bringing something genuinely unique to our vibrant city!”
