Nevil Road closed from 1:30pm on Friday 13 July

To all supporters, please note that Nevil Road will be closed to all vehicles from 1.30pm until 1 hour after the close of play on Friday 13 July for the Vitality Blast match between Gloucestershire and Somerset.

We strongly advise that supporters attending the game should use the Park and Ride service that is being provided by First Bus. See below:

PARK & RIDE

Park and Ride facilities have been arranged with First Group.  

The Park and Ride service will be based at Portway, near Avonmouth, off M5 Junction 18 (BS11 9QE).

Buses will operate from 4.00pm until 6.30pm, and will operate for at least 90 minutes after the match.Parking will be free and directions to the parking sites will be clearly sign posted from main routes into the City.

Return fare to The Brightside Ground, Bristol – £5 per adult - Children 15 and under travel free of charge with a fare paying adult.

BY BUS

The Brightside Ground on Nevil Road is easily accessible by bus. Services 17, 70, 71, 73 75/76, T2 run within a five minute walk of the main entrance using stops on the nearby Gloucester Road (Services 71, 73, 75/76, T2), Muller Road (Service 17) and Ashley Down Road (Service 70). All buses operate at very regular intervals, with services 70, 75 and 76 – even running 24 hours a day.

BY TRAIN AND BUS

For those travelling by train Bristol Temple Meads is in the centre of Bristol and Bristol Parkway is to the north. There are regular bus services from both stations to the ground. Catch the number 70 or 73 bus from Bristol Temple Meads or 73 from Bristol Parkway. There are also taxi ranks at both stations.
