Murali returns for Friends Life t20 quarter final

We are delighted to announce that International world record wicket taker, Muttiah Muralitharan, is returning to join Gloucestershire for our Friends Life t20 quarter final against Sussex.  Murali was a key part of the Gloucestershire squad that performed strongly in the FL t20 group stages, including a convincing win at Taunton against local rivals Somerset.  

Tom Richardson, Chief Executive of Gloucestershire County Cricket Club, said: "Murali made a major contribution on and off the field during our group t20 matches and we are delighted he has been able to return to join up with the team for the quarter finals. We would like to thank Sitec Group, our t20 shirt sponsors, for their support which has helped make this possible." 

As already announced, our Friends Life t20 quarter-final clash with the Sussex Sharks is scheduled for Tuesday 24 July (7.10 pm start) at The PROBIZ County Ground, Hove.

Tickets can be purchased directly from Sussex County Cricket Club via their website www.sussexcricket.co.uk or by telephoning 0844 264 0206 (office hours are 9.00 am – 5.00 pm Monday – Friday, 9.30 am to 12.30 pm Saturday). 

Prices are as follows: 

Adults (in advance) = £20 plus £5 for allocated seat (Juniors £10)
On the gate = £25 plus £5 for allocated seat (Juniors £10)
Family Ticket – in advance only, 2nd child goes free
