Matt Taylor ruled out for remainder of the season
18 July 2022
Gloucestershire bowler Matt Taylor has been ruled out for the remainder of the season after suffering a stress fracture to his foot.
Matt has been ever-present in Gloucestershire's First-Class team so far this season but unfortunately suffered a serious foot injury during the LV= Insurance County Championship Division One defeat to Essex.
His consistent good form for The Shire saw him rewarded with a one-year contract extension in June.
Everyone at Gloucestershire wishes Matt a speedy and successful recovery, and looks forward to seeing him back in first-team action in 2023.
