Match abandoned at Canterbury
17 September 2015
Our LV= County Championship match against Kent has been abandoned due to the conditions at Canterbury. The weather prevented a single ball being bowled during the final three days of the fixture.
Match umpires David Millns and Paul Baldwin inspected the conditions at 10.30am and decided the Canterbury outfield was too wet for any further play.
Only 15 overs were bowled in the game as Kent were left becalmed on their opening day score of 67 for one. The teams banked five points apiece for the stalemate.
Our next match is the Royal London One-Day Cup final at Lords on Saturday as we take on Surrey.
