Klinger makes ACA All*Star teams

Gloucestershire batsman Michael Klinger has been selected in two of the Australian Cricketer’s Association’s (ACA) *All Star teams for 2014/15.
The 34-year-old is the only player to be picked in both the Big Bash League T20 and Four-Day Series sides after a stellar season back in his native Australia.
The All Star teams are voted for by contracted Cricket Australia, state and rookie players. For the full list click here.
Klinger, who will re-join Gloucestershire in June is the second highest run scorer in the four-day Sheffield Shield competition having made more than 1000 runs for Western Australia at an average of 46. He was also the top scorer in this year’s Big Bash League, with 323 runs as Perth Scorchers claimed the title.
A number of other players who will appear at the Bristol County Ground this season also made the All Star teams. They include England Women’s vice-captain Heather Knight who made both the one-day and T20 line-ups.
