Kane Back And Raring To Go

Kane Williamson is looking forward to making his first appearance of the season for Gloucestershire in the LV County Championship match against Glamorgan at Bristol, starting tomorrow.
The young New Zealand batsman is refreshed after a short break following his recent international exploits, which included a gutsy Test century against the might of the South African pace attack.
Now Kane is focussing on the next two and a half months with Gloucestershire before hopefully earning selection for New Zealand's tour to West Indies later this summer.
He told this website: "I learned a lot from my time with the club last year and it has helped me develop my career at international level.
"The lads have made a good start to this season, despite three tough away games, and I am really looking forward to playing at Bristol again.
"Coming to England has given me experience of different conditions and a different ball. The one used last season swung a lot and that was a real test.
"The tour party to West Indies will be named in a couple of weeks and I hope to be in it, but even if that is the case I should still be here for the start of the Twenty 20 competition."
Gloucestershire will continue to rotate their seam bowlers, even though David Payne is ruled out of the Glamorgan game by a side injury.
Paul Muchall is rested and James Fuller returns to the squad. David Wade has also been named in the 12, but skipper Alex Gidman may opt to use an extra batsman by bringing in Williamson and retaining trialist Benny Howell.
Alex told this website: "The three successive games on the road were even more of a drain on energy levels than I expected. But we have rested up this week and are raring to go again.
"It will be nice being back playing in front of our own members again and hopefully the weather won't play too big a part."
