Gloucestershire v Somerset | Vitality Blast Ticket Information

17 June 2021

The Club are writing to its supporters today to inform supporters that unfortunately, due to the government’s announcement on Monday, The Club do not have enough space to allocate certain supporters seat(s) for the Vitality Blast match between Gloucestershire and Somerset on Thursday 1 July.

With tickets having been available for several weeks, sales have already exceeded the restricted capacity now being imposed for the home T20 matches in Bristol. the Club are very sorry that you have been affected in this way, but trust supporters will understand that these are events beyond the Club’s control.

The Club has had to initiate its rollback plan and prioritise the following criteria:

  • 2021 Gloucestershire Cricket Members – those with a valid 2021 Membership
  • 2020 Ticket Rollovers – those who purchased and rolled over 2020 tickets, who wished to attend this fixture in 2021
  • Ticket purchasers – we will select ticket purchasers based on the time of purchase, with those who purchased first receiving priority

As a result of the above, unfortunately, based on the time of purchase, The Club have had to write to a selected amount of supporters today to confirm that they are now not eligible for this match. We do however have space remaining for three of our other Vitality Blast fixtures at the Bristol County Ground. The Club would therefore like to give these supporters the opportunity to move their ticket(s) to ONE of the three remaining matches*, or if they can’t attend any of these matches, they can of course select the refund option given.

If supporters have selected a replacement match, they will receive their e-ticket(s) very soon. If the supporter selects a refund, the Club will be processing these soon after July 1.

The three remaining Vitality Blast matches in Bristol are as follows:

Hampshire Hawks – Sunday 20 June @2:30pm

Kent Spitfires – Tuesday 22 June @6:30pm

Glamorgan – Thursday 24 June @6:30pm

The Club are currently assessing the Vitality Blast matches at the Visit Cayman Islands Cheltenham Cricket Festival and the Royal London One-Day International taking place on Sunday 4 July.

We thank everybody for their patience and understanding at this busy time.
