Gloucestershire v Middlesex Team News and live scorecard
31 March 2015
Gloucestershire begin a three-day friendly against Middlesex today (March 31) as they step up their preparations for the 2015 season.
The match at Merchant Taylors' School follows on from the T20 double header against Somerset on Monday which ended in a win and a loss.
The match – which is Gloucestershire’s penultimate pre-season game - sees them come up against an experienced Middlesex team featuring a number of international stars.
Opener Sam Robson will be keen to find form as he looks to force his way back into Ashes reckoning while fast bowler Steve Finn will be hoping to bounce back from a disappointing World Cup. Other names to look out former England batsman Nick Compton, now in his second spell with the county and Ireland World Cup pair Andrew Balbirnie and Paul Stirling.
