Glos are back in LV= Insurance County Championship Division One action tomorrow as they welcome Lancashire to the Seat Unique Stadium.

The visitors currently sit third in the table having won three, drawn three and lost one. Glos currently sit in tenth position with five losses, two draws and no victories to their name.

Glos travelled to the Emirates Old Trafford in April and despite some resilient batting from the Shire batters on the final day which saw the game go deep into the final session Glos suffered an innings and 57 run defeat.

With just 23 balls remaining the Shire’s resistance ended when Jarrad Warner’s 119 ball vigil came to an end when he edged a Hassan delivery to wicket keeper Phil Salt.

Last time out in the LV= Insurance County Championship Glos suffered an eight wicket defeat to Kent with the Shire picking up six points from their visit to Canterbury.

Lancashire fared better in their last game as they defeated Warwickshire in Birmingham by four wickets returning home to Manchester with 21 points from their trip to the Midlands.
