    Gloucestershire stars Ben Charlesworth and David Payne kick off ILT20 campaign in UAE

    Vitality Blast winners Ben Charlesworth and David Payne have landed in the UAE, ready to showcase their skills in the International League T20 (ILT20).

    Explosive hitter Ben Charlesworth will represent the MI Emirates after a stellar season in Gloucestershire colours. His lower-order role as the finisher helped the Club to seven wins and a tie during the group stage - as Shire went on to lift the trophy. The tournament is Charlesworth's first in a franchise international T20 league.

    More familiar with franchise cricket, left-armer David Payne joins the Desert Vipers, fresh off an impressive Vitality Blast campaign where he led the attack with 28 wickets, cementing his status as one of the country's leading white-ball bowlers.

    The two Gloucestershire teammates could find themselves in action on the opening day of the competition when as the MI Emirates and Desert Vipers both feature on Saturday.
