Gloucestershire Exiles Day | 26 July 2022
30 June 2022
With attention now turning to the Visit Cayman Islands Cheltenham Festival there's less than two weeks left to book tickets for the annual Gloucestershire Exiles Day which is this year taking place on July 26th.
Now firmly established as one of the highlights of the Cheltenham festival, the spiritual home of the Exiles, this year’s Exiles Day will take place on the second day of the Championship match against Northamptonshire. The event is held in a private marquee and is always a popular event. It enables Exiles and their friends to mix and mingle in one of the country’s most iconic cricket settings, and if the cricket is anything like the opening match of the season everyone is in for a great day out.
Tickets are available at £48 each and includes morning coffee, lunch and afternoon tea. There is also a bar selling refreshments. For more information about the Exiles Day contact Mark Brunt at: mbrunt@solventis.net
Exiles Chair, Sarah Blowen, said: “After the Covid break it was great to have such a big turnout at last year’s event and ticket sales have already passed the 2021 figure, but we still have a few remaining.
“It is a great day out, gives people a chance to catch up again, and from a cricket point of view everyone knows the importance of the match against Northamptonshire.”
