Gloucestershire Cricket starts search for new Chair and Board Members
24 May 2024
Position of Chair
Further to recent communication we are excited to open up the process for the appointment of the role of Chair at Gloucestershire County Cricket Club. The process will be run by independent search firm Perrett Laver and is supported by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB).
Applicants for the role of Chair are welcome from within the membership (including the current Executive Board) and to external candidates as well. This is obviously a crucial appointment at a very important time for the Club and it is essential that we have this robust and clear selection process to follow and in accordance with the ECB’s guidance on good governance.
The full job description specific to the role of Chair, which incorporates feedback from the Members’ Working Group, will be made available next week including the relevant contact details at Perrett Laver but in the meantime please do read the Executive Board roles and responsibilities letter attached and if you have any questions please contact Will Brown, Chief Executive at Will.Brown@glosccc.co.uk
Executive Board Vacancy
In addition we are also going live today with the election process for a new elected Executive Board member from within the membership of the Club. For any member who is interested in applying we would once again draw their attention to the roles and responsibilities letter.
Applicants should, in the first instance, contact Will Brown at Will.Brown@glosccc.co.uk. We will then arrange for them to meet with a Nominations Committee, so they can have a discussion of what is expected and we can answer any questions they may have.
Closing Date
The closing date for any applications made via this route will be Friday 21st June.
