Glos v Netherlands in Amsterdam
29 May 2012
Dutch Cricket welcomes yet another important day in the calendar when the Netherlands Team plays Gloucestershire CCC in the CB40 at VRA CC in Amstelveen. On Friday 27th July we will have the first televised match in the Netherlands since South Africa visited in 1999 when the game was covered by BBCTV – in those days the prime broadcaster for Cricket on TV. Now 13 years on the KNCB not only have their own TV channel known as KNCBTV which provides a highlights package of news and views but now Sky Sports will cover the game the world over.
The day is set to be a wonderful opportunity to see the teams, get player autographs, meet the world famous commentators and be part of a series of events on the day. There will be coaching and games taking place on VRA’s second ground as well as opportunities to do skills and drills with the new Cricket Factory Stations. Youngsters can come along from their Holiday coaching courses and enjoy the atmosphere of international game and maybe they too will be out in the middle one day.
For the business world there are corporate opportunities to entertain business colleagues and guests at the match which starts at 1345. For just €60 excl VAT per person companies can host tables of 10 people pitch side to the game with the wonderful opportunity to get links with our new banking sponsor ABN Amro who will be present for the day.
For those seeking just to be at the Cricket then €15 is the entry fee for the day which includes a programme and scorecard. We look forward to seeing you there. For more information on the day please contact the following people:
