Glos Second XI to play friendly v South Asian Cricket Academy

Gloucestershire Second XI are delighted to announce an additional fixture for their 2022 schedule against the South Asian Cricket Academy.
The two-day fixture will take place on Monday 6 & Tuesday 7 June at Rockhampton Cricket Club and will start at 10.30am on both days.
Following the confirmation of the fixture, Gloucestershire’s Second XI Coach Owen Dawkins, said: ‘’We are delighted to be able to add this fixture to our schedule and we are extremely grateful to Rockhampton Cricket Club to host us at such short notice. We have been in discussions with Tom Brown from the South Asian Cricket Academy to find a suitable date for the fixture and it will be a great chance to view more talent players as we prepare for our next red ball fixture against Kent.’’
Tom Brown, who manages the South Cricket Asian Cricket Academy, said: ‘’It is a wonderful opportunity for our lads who are hungry to showcase their skills against such a quality side. We would like Gloucestershire County Cricket Club for hosting us on what I am sure will be a great challenge.’’
