Events - Cheltenham Cricket Society

The Cheltenham Cricket Society – founded in 1983 - meets on the 1st Wednesday of each month from September to May at 7:30 pm at the Victory Club in Lypiatt Road. Speakers in the last two seasons have included Barry Richards, Derek Randall, Phil DeFreitas, Pat Murphy, Geoff Miller and John Emburey.
The 2018/19 Programme is:
September 5th. Farokh Engineer - Lancashire and India wicket-keeper batsman
October 3rd. Paul Smith - Warwickshire all-rounder
November 7th. David Leatherdale - Worcestershire all-rounder and administrator
December 5th. Geoff Cope - Yorkshire and England spin-bowler
January 9th. Annual Quiz
February 6th. Chris Lewis - Nottinghamshire and England all-rounder
March 6th. Patrick Eagar - legendary photographer who worked at 325 Test matches
April 3rd. Scyld Berry – author and journalist who has covered over 450 England Tests
May 1st. AGM + Will Brown - GCCC Chief Executive
Current subscription rates:
£25 per annum Joint £44 Under 21 / full-time students £15
Non-members are welcome - a £6 fee is payable per meeting
