England Men's U19s to face Sri Lanka U19s in Youth Test at Cheltenham

England Men’s U19s will host Sri Lanka Men’s U19s in a Youth Test match at the Towergate Cheltenham Cricket Festival in July.
The match, will will take place between Tuesday 16th and Friday 19th July, will be a chance for Gloucestershire supporters to catch a glimpse of the next generation of England Men's players in action. Having previously been scheduled to play India, England will take part in a five-match multi-format series against the touring Sri Lanka side which will finish with the Youth Test match at Cheltenham.
The series will be the first time Head coach Mike Yardy’s team has been in action since the ICC Under-19s Men’s World Cup during the winter, with the opening Youth ODI to be played under lights at the Cloud County Ground in Chelmsford on 28 June. The 1st Century County Ground will host the final two Youth ODIs of the series. The two-match Youth Test series will be staged at Wormsley and Cheltenham.
England Men’s U19s Head Coach, Mike Yardy, said: “As always, it’s a great opportunity for our players to play against a quality international opposition and perform while representing their country.”
