Disability Cricket Continues to Grow

Disability cricket in the county continues to grow with the introduction of new opportunities for cricketers with an impairment.
Thanks to sponsorship from John Lewis Cribbs Causeway, support from two clubs within the county and the hard work of the Disability Cricket Development Officer - Chris Munden - there are now more oppportunities than ever for disabled cricketers to participate and compete.
Following on from the development of disability cricket within schools and coaching workshops to develop coaches abilities in delivering to disabled athletes the GCB is now pleased to announce new sections for Visually Impaired Cricketers and those with a Learning Disability.
The sessions will be delivered by Cirencester Cricket Club & Frenchay Cricket Club. Both clubs have been heavily involved in the set up of the new sections within their club are equally as excited as the Board about the new opportunities they are able to offer.
