Charlesworth Out Indefinitely
5 April 2021
Ben Charlesworth will miss the start of the 2021 season having suffered a dislocated shoulder in a T20 friendly against Somerset.
Charlesworth, who was fielding in the second of two T20 friendlies at Bristol, dived to save the ball going for a boundary in the second over but landed awkwardly and dislocated his shoulder.
He will undergo surgery this week and target a comeback in the second half of the season.
In other news, Jared Warner is recovering well from a side strain and will be assessed ahead of the opening match of the season against Surrey this Thursday.
All other players in the first team squad are currently available for selection. You can find all the latest team news here
