Introducing the Channel Communications Stand
29 April 2019
Gloucestershire Cricket Club are thrilled to announce a new partnership with leading technology provider Channel Communications Ltd.
As part of the deal, Channel Communications have agreed to be the official naming partner for the Mound Stand for the next year, with the stand being renamed as the ‘Channel Communications Stand’.
“Channel Communications are very excited to be partnering Gloucestershire County Cricket Club, and to see our name and brand on the Channel stand”, Channel Communications Sales Director Nick Boulton said, “As a company we work locally and nationally with many organisations to provide them with up to date technology to improve their phone systems, mobiles and internet connectivity.
We are also very pleased to build upon our relationship with Gloucestershire Cricket Club having supported and maintained their phone system for some time now.”
The stand was demolished and redeveloped in 2014 making it the largest seating stand in the ground and now Channel branding is posted on all the advertising boards across the stand.
The company already had a working relationship with the Club prior to the new deal, with Channel providing the clubs telephone system maintenance and support.
GCCC Business Development Manager, Joe Kaniecki said:
“The ground and the stand in particular have undergone some massive cosmetic changes in recent years and now with the Channel Communications deal, the redevelopment is complete. The Channel Communications Stand now has its own identity.
We are very happy with how our partnership with Channel communications has begun and we hope it continues long into the future.”
With Channel Communications headquarters being located locally in Bristol, we would like to welcome them and their customers to come and enjoy a day at the cricket during the season.
