Benny Third In CB40 MVP Ratings

Gloucestershire’s position at the top of group A in the Clydesdale Bank 40 competition is down in no small part to the performances of four players who currently sit in the top 10 of the national CB40 FTI Most Valuable Player Rankings.
Benny Howell leads the way in third spot after scores of 72 not out, 45 not out and 88 against the Netherlands, Middlesex and Leicestershire respectively.
Kane Williamson is sixth following his 112 off 92 balls against Leicestershire and Chris Dent is one place back after taking 4-43 in the same game.
Ed Young in eighth also has six wickets in the competition and a healthy economy rate, conceding runs at just 4 per over.
In the overall FTI MVP Rankings Will Gidman is in 11th spot having scored 230 runs and taken 21 wickets.
