Benny Howell - Road to recovery Part One
15 November 2019
Gloucestershire all-rounder Benny Howell suffered a hamstring avulsion injury against Surrey at the Kia Oval whilst playing for Gloucestershire in the Vitality Blast in August. This resulted in Benny missing the remainder of the 2019 season.
Since sustaining the injury, Benny has undergone surgery and has been working his way back to full fitness with the help of the Gloucestershire medical team.
Lead Physiotherapist David Bartlett and Strength and Conditioning Coach Bob Smith have been working closely with Benny since the injury.
In part one of Benny's recovery, we take a look at the training/recovery programme that Benny has been on. Make sure you keep a look out for Part Two of Benny's training programme.
