Bainbridge - “it was comfortably the most nervous I have ever been"
18 September 2018
Former Gloucestershire player, Phil Bainbridge was busking outside of the Optimum Sports Bar on Friday 31 August during the lunch interval on the third day of our Specsavers County Championship match against Leicestershire.
Phil was busking for Oxjam 2018. Oxjam is the UK's largest grassroots music festival, who are now taking it to the streets. Oxjam started in 2006 with the aim of creating a network of music-loving people across the UK, all united by a shared goal – to raise money to fight poverty and suffering around the world.
With very generous collections on the day, and backing from his Just Giving page, Phil has managed to raise over £500. He would like to thank those who gave generously on the day and would encourage anyone else thinking of donating towards his Just Giving page below.
Bainbridge said, “it was comfortably the most nervous I have ever been performing at the ground.”
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails.
