Astra Security become Gloucestershire Women front of shirt Sponsor and Activation Zone Partner

Gloucestershire Cricket are pleased to announce the new sponsorship of Astra Security Limited, who have become the front of shirt and training wear sponsor for the Gloucestershire Women’s team for the season.

Astra Security are specialists in providing custom made security solutions. They design, install and maintain integrated systems, including CCTV, remote monitoring, access control and more. The company is founded on a personal approach to doing business, and over the years, even as it’s grown, this has remained constant. 

It’s an important part of the ethos at Astra Security to support local communities, charities and grassroots sport. The company also has a great interest in supporting women’s sport in Bristol: for six years they have been sponsoring the Bristol Bears Women’s team.

Not only will Astra Security become a shirt sponsor of the Club, they will also become the Activation Zone Partner for the 2021 Vitality Blast (T20) and Royal London Cup campaign. During T20 matches (after June 21st), the Activation Zone will be in place at the Bristol County Ground, full of fun activities for all children to enjoy before and during the course of a match.

The Gloucestershire Women’s team made the perfect start to their 2021 campaign after winning two matches at Cheltenham College against Cornwall Women in the Vitality Blast. Unfortunately, both T20 matches against Oxford Women in the second round of fixtures were abandoned due to rain.

Their next matches takes place on Sunday 9 May away to Devon Women.
