AGM 2022

31 March 2022

Dear Member

We hope this letter finds you well.

As previously indicated, the ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING of Members of Gloucestershire County Cricket Club Limited will be held in the Grace Room of the Bristol Pavilion from 18:30 on Thursday 14 April 2022.

We are very excited about being able to hold the AGM in person back in Bristol and look forward to seeing you on the night.

Other than those regular items within the agenda we are asking for approval of one change to the constitution. As David Jones discussed in his update letter of February 2022 the Gloucestershire Cricket Board (GCB) GCB has recently become a charitable foundation. As the GCB they had representation on the Club’s Executive board but both parties have agreed that we are best collaborating in a more agile, informal way. This year we are therefore asking you to approve the conversion of that position into an appointed role in order to give us maximum flexibility. This will leave us with a board of 6 Member voted positions, 5 appointed ones and the CEO. The specific amendments are summarised as:

The removal of the reference to the Gloucestershire Cricket Board Limited in Clause 11.2  and 11.8 of the constitution.

The increase of the number of co-opted members from four to five in Clause 11.3.

The removal of clause 11.17 of the constitution in its entirety (this clause specifically refers to the method of appointment of the Gloucestershire Cricket Board Limited nominee)

We are very excited about being able to hold the AGM in person back in Bristol and look forward to seeing you on the night.

Yours sincerely

Will Brown

Chief Executive
