Gloucestershire v Northants Steelbacks

Gloucestershire's opening Vitality Blast Central Group match against Northamptonshire Steelbacks was abandoned without a ball being bowled.

The match was due to begin at 2pm. but by then persistent heavy rain throughout the morning had saturated the outfield.

With no let-up in the downpour forecast, umpires Ian Blackwell and Russell Warren ruled out any prospect of play at shortly after the scheduled start time.
