How do I Apply?

When will I find out if I have been successful?

All applications will be considered at the end of the month. From this we will then aim to let you know within five working days of the month ending.


How far in advance do I need to request prizes?

We will make decisions at the end of each month. We would advise at least 4 weeks prior.


Do I need to be a registered charity?

No – if you are applying on behalf of a charity, please let us know.


What are the criteria for applications?

  • We’d like to support events and organisations based in the Bristol and Gloucestershire area.
  • Our ambition is to support a cross-section of worthy causes as best we can. Therefore, we are unlikely to support a charity twice in close proximity.
  • Supporting charitable causes is a key aspect of the club’s strategy. The club are more likely to support causes that align with this.

Will you let us know if we haven’t been successful?

Yes, we will let you know within 5 working days of the end of the month whether you have been successful or not.


Would Gloucestershire Cricket be able to post about the fundraiser on social channels?

Unfortunately, this is not something that we would be able to offer, due to the volume of requests we receive and commitments of the club’s charity partners.


Family & Friend requests – including weddings, funerals, special occasions

If we are able, we will of course accommodate this. You will still be required to fill out the form and explain the occasion etc.


How do I become a charity partner?

We work with charity partners annually and will select these partners towards the end of the calendar year.


If I am unsuccessful, can I apply again?

Yes, we aim to offer reasons why you may not have been successful on one occasion and encourage you to reapply.


Do you offer monetary donations?

No, unfortunately due to the volume of requests, we are unable to offer monetary donations.


Can I appeal a decision?

No, however we encourage you to reapply for a chance to receive a donation on another occasion.


If successful, how will I receive the donation?

You will be notified via email. If the prize is a ticket, you will receive a e-voucher, which can be redeemed through the ticket office. Other prizes are available to collect immediately from the club’s reception.


Can I choose the donation prize?

As we receive a number of requests monthly, part of the process will involve deciding which prize goes to which application. We would suggest including your preference in the application form, and, if successful, we will do our best to fulfil this request. Please note that once prizes have been donated we are not able to be exchanged for an alternative offering.


If I am successful, can I apply again in the future?

Yes of course.


What donation prizes do you offer?

A signed shirt, a signed bat, ticket vouchers for Royal London one-day matches or County Championship matches of your choice. Exclusions may apply.
