Ground Redevelopment Plans have “hit the stumps!”
Reluctantly, as a result of queries raised by Bristol City Council, Gloucestershire County Cricket Club had to agree to a further delay to our planning application due to go to the Planning Committee last Wednesday 23 November.
Whilst we are naturally very disappointed with this delay, we look forward to working closely with the City Council to get our proposal for redevelopment before a Planning Committee in December.
In the meantime, we need YOUR support. You can help to secure the future of International cricket at the County Ground, and the economic benefits that such matches bring not only to the Club, but to the community of Bristol as a whole.
To show your support, please send an email by using the following link:

Alternatively, please write to:

If you have already registered your support, we would be grateful if you could encourage your friends and business colleagues to email or write with their backing for this important development for cricket and the City of Bristol.
Your support really does count – thank you!
